Dear Member,

We are currently busy planning for the High Holyday services at the Young Israel of the West Side.  It is universally acknowledged that every year our services are truly awe-inspiring.  Now our most important concern is the seating of our members.

Last year, we were blessed with an unprecedented number of people attending our services.  The vacant seats on Yom Kippur were few and far between.  Anticipating a growing demand for seats, we want to guarantee that our members have priority in securing the seats of their choice. Therefore, we are requesting that members use the website (https://www.yiws.org/seating.php ) or the enclosed form to reserve seats no later than August 20th.

Please remember that we cannot guarantee your choice of seats beyond August 20th, so please reply as soon as possible. We will mail your tickets as soon as your application is processed. 

Non-members who join the shul will be eligible for Member prices.  Please apply for membership via the website https://www.yiws.org/application.php.
(On a sidenote, we would like to remind everyone that membership dues are billed for a calendar year.  We will send a communication in late November regarding dues.)

Finally, we would also like to take this opportunity to remind you about our Yom Kippur Appeal. We will be sending out a formal appeal letter later this month with more details regarding participation in our appeal. The Yom Kippur Appeal is the most important fundraiser for the continued operation of the shul. We encourage you to send in your contribution with your request for seats or contribute online at https://www.yiws.org/yom_kippur.php.
