With the help of our members, the Young Israel of the West Side has become the center for Jewish life in our community by involving our diverse membership community, which includes families, recently married couples and singles. Together, we continue to create a sense of excitement as we grow and revitalize our synagogue. Schedule for the Week of August 17 - 23

Shacharit

Daily Minyan - 7:10 am (Monday & Thursday) and 7:20 am  (Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday)

New Daily Shiur - Rabbi Cohen will be starting a NEW daily shiur 10 minutes before the weekday minyan on the topic of prayer.  All are invited and encouraged to attend.

Haftorah Shiur - Friday mornings at 6:30 am given by Reuben Ebrahimoff.  For more details please see www.haftorahman.com 

Sunday - 8:30 am

Weekly Classes  

Rabbi Cohen's Yom Tov Class - Wednesday at 8:00. The class will be given for both men and women on yom tov related issues. Classes will begin on September 3rd.

Rabbi Cohen's Women's Tefilla Workshop - Tuesday Evening, 8:00 - 8:45 pm in the Beit Midrash (will resume in the fall). 

Rabbi Cohen's Men's Class - "Contemporary Response - Halachic Dilemmas". Wednesday Evening, 8:45 - 9:30 pm in the Beit Midrash (will resume in the fall).
