Hospitality InformationThe Hospitality Committee has been established to promote the value of hachnasat orchim, welcoming guests, and to create an environment of warmth in the shul by welcoming visitors, newcomers and members each week. The committee proactively reaches out to new members by networking them with other Young Israel members and by informing them about the shul's programming specifically suited to their needs and interests. Committee members also serve as information resources to help new members feel more at home in New York City if they have recently moved to Manhattan. For visitors to the Upper West Side community, the committee will arrange places for Shabbat meals. Please e-mail the Hospitality Committee at rsalpeter@yu.edu or paulagantz@gmail.com by Tuesday of the week you will be visiting. Last minute guests can be accomodated. Listen for the announcement at the end of davening for the name of the person to approach.
If you would like to contact our committee please email rsalpeter@yu.edu or paulagantz@gmail.com. |
